CNC Operator

Company Overview


CNC Fabrication is growing and we are looking for a skilled, dependable CNC Operator to join our in-house team.
We are an established automotive manufacturer and online parts retailer known for American craftsmanship,
reliable quality, and innovative solutions built to exacting standards.

Position Summary


In this role you will produce precision-machined components on Haas CNC equipment, run production jobs,
perform in-process quality checks, and help ensure every part meets specification. You will work closely
with the shop team to keep workflow efficient, safe, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Haas CNC mills and/or lathes for daily production.
  • Load raw materials, set workholding, and monitor operations through the run cycle.
  • Perform quality checks with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Maintain tooling, track tool wear, and make basic offsets or adjustments.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Communicate with teammates and supervisors to minimize downtime.
  • Follow safety and quality control procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement within the machine shop.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years operating CNC machines; Haas experience preferred.
  • Familiar with G-code, tool offsets, and basic setups.
  • Able to read blueprints and use precision measurement instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school is a plus.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
