You can upgrade the compressor and turbine wheels inside the stock turbo, you can upgrade to a “drop-in” aftermarket turbo that uses the same design and mounting system as the factory turbo but provides better performance, Or finally, you can upgrade the mounting system of the turbo and use any T4 style turbo available giving you the most options and highest performance possible.
