This manifold block is for those who have already installed the Ford JOB2 5R110W transmission pan and filter found in the 2008.5-2010 6.4L Powerstroke. If you have not installed the later 6.4L Powerstroke transmission pan and filter, then please add the part number 6.0-ETFBM-KIT to your cart as this is the complete kit with pan, gasket, filter, and bolt pack. Your stock 6.0L transmission filter in the pan will not properly filter the fluid as it is more of a screen to catch larger debris if you ONLY install this manifold without the 6.4L pan and filter.
You will need to look under your truck in the area in front of the AC compressor to see which housing you have before you order the correct version. The early 03-04 (leaf spring) trucks filter housing will have brass hose barbs on side closest to the front of the truck and the fittings closest to the AC compressor are quick disconnect (Bundy style) fittings. On the 05-07 (coil over spring) trucks, all 4 fittings are the same quick disconnect size.
The stock 6.0L in-line "toilet paper" filter housing is notorious for being difficult to remove due to the threads seizing from corrosion. This can result in the hex casting on the bottom of the filter housing breaking off while trying to loosen it. If the hex portion is already broken, then you have to use a pipe wrench, and it is common for the pipe wrench to exert too much pressure on the housing and crack the side of the bowl section.
